Olivia Vlogs in Space.

A young engineering cadet on humanity's first deep-space mission, vlogging her way out of the solar system — one transmission at a time, on a deliberate weekly cadence. The signal arrives Wednesdays.

The premise

The SS Pathfinder left Earth in 2098 carrying 84,522 people — crew, cadets, and four hundred passengers wealthy enough to buy a berth on humanity's first true deep-space mission. Among the cadets is Olivia Locke, twenty-two, an engineer with a camera. Her channel — Liv at Lightspeed — has been running since she was fourteen, for an audience of strangers who watched her grow up. She is not going to stop now.

There is no live line home. Every transmission crawls back to Earth at the speed of light, and every reply crawls out the same way — a conversation measured in years. It arrives when it arrives. She films anyway. Somebody might be listening.

Each episode is a complete piece of work — as long as it needs to be, with proper act breaks and resolved beats. The destination is Proxima Centauri b. The story is not in a hurry.

The cadence

One transmission a week. Always Wednesday.

The cadence is fixed. Episodes are not held back for marketing reasons, and they are not released early to capitalize on a moment. The signal arrives when it arrives.

This is one ship, one crew, one season — but the world is larger than the broadcast.
